See inside

A cosy space to chill.
The main area is multi-functional – clear away the furniture for pilates, sound bath or to listen to acoustic healing music
Coming soon: The Studio is another multi-function space which can be used for podcasts or as a sensory room for neurodivergent people to escape over-stimulation
Partnering opportunities
The Courtenay is not just intended as a money making venture although it does need to at least cover its costs – it receives no funding. We are keen to embrace any activities that makes Teignmouth and surrounding areas a better place to live and work. A few examples below, but there may be plenty more!
Small conference or performance
If you need a space to bring together a few dozen people in an intimate and calming atmosphere
Youth Programmes
We are really keen to develop the next generation. If you are interested in working with us please make contact
Community Groups
Need event space? Maybe a regular and central place to meet people or a pop-up facility to try out something new.
Our vision for The Courtenay
We aim to create an inclusive community hub that nurtures healing, creativity and personal growth through diverse workshops, therapeutic services and vocational training, enhancing the wellbeing of individuals across all ages and backgrounds.
Our education system fails so many, but the empowerment of entrepreneurship can help many of those fulfil their potential and make a difference. We would love to build a community where older people with experience and connections join forces with younger people with unfettered imagination and energy to tackle some of our most pressing problems.
Join us if you share our vision.
